Avbokningsavgifter

Vi tar inte ut någon avgift för bokningar som avbeställs 7 dagar eller mer före hämtningstidpunkten. Om du avbeställer din bokning efter denna tid gäller följande avgifter:

• Om du avbeställer bokningen mindre än 7 dagar före upphämtningstiden debiteras du hela kostnaden för bokningen eller upp till högst 280 SEK, beroende på vilket som är lägst.
• Om du avbeställer bokningen mindre än 24 timmar före upphämtningstiden debiteras du hela kostnaden för bokningen eller upp till högst 700 SEK, beroende på vilket som är lägst.

Avgifterna ovan gäller för samtliga länder med untantag för Storbritannien där följande avgifter gäller:

• Om du avbokar bokningen mindre än 7 dagar före upphämtningstiden debiteras du antingen hela beloppet för bokningen eller max 488 SEK om bokningskostnaden är högre än 488 SEK.
• Om du avbokar bokningen mindre än 24 timmar före upphämtningstiden debiteras du hela kostnaden för bokningen.

Vid en avbokning sker återbetalning till ditt kreditkort, minus avgiften ovan.

Underlåtelse att komma

Om du underlåter att hämta bilen det angivna hämtningsdatumet förbehåller vi oss rätten att ta ut en avgift för denna underlåtelse, antingen kostnaden för bokningen eller upp till högst 700 SEK, beroende på vilket som är lägst. Om du underlåter att komma sker återbetalning till ditt kreditkort, minus underlåtelseavgiften.

Ej använda hyrdagar

Lägg märke till att eventuella hyrdagar som inte används för förbetalda bokningar ej återbetalas.

Om du inte hämtar upp din bil vid den utsatta upphämtningstiden reserverar vi oss rätten ta ut en avgift för den icke utnyttjade hyrtiden.

Finland

Additional Driver Policy

The maximum number of additional drivers permitted per rental is unlimited. Additional drivers fee is 20.00 EUR per rental, excl vat. Rental conditions apply to all additional drivers.

Age Requirements

Minimum rental age is 20 years for all car groups. There is no maximum rental age. Young drivers surcharge is 20.00 EUR per rental, excl vat, for drivers between 20-24 years of age.

Cross Border Policy

Cross border travel is strictly not permitted into Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Russia. If the customer travels across the border into Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Russia, regardless of this rule, then they would be liable for the whole purchase amount of the vehicle incase of theft. Cross border travel is permitted into Norway and Sweden only. Cross border travel is not permitted without written permission from rental company first, which is granted on a case by case basis, and is at their own discretion. No extra documents or advance notice is required for cross border travel. Please be advised that due to a change in law in Germany, it is mandatory for all vehicles crossing the border into Germany to have winter tyres fitted during the Snow & Icy conditions. Customers will be fined on the spot if they are stopped by police and found to not have the appropriate winter tyres.

Delivery / Collection

Delivery and collections are permitted on freesale between Monday and Friday between 08:00 and 16:00 in larger towns in Finland at a cost of 20.00 EUR, excl vat, within 10km of the location. There is an additional charge of 1.75 EUR, excl vat, for each additional km travelled over 10km. Delivery and collections are permitted for out of hours rentals on request at an extra cost and are granted on a case by case basis. Customers must check the delivery and collection procedure at the time of reservation.

Insurance Excess

Collision Damage Waiver & Theft Waiver limits the customer's financial responsibility for loss, damage or theft of the rental vehicle. The maximum excess that is payable in the event of one of these incidents is 1250.00 EUR. The maximum excess will vary depending on the vehicle you are renting, please ask at time of rental for further information on which excess applies.  If you would like to reduce or remove your excess responsibility please ask the rental staff when collecting your vehicle about additional products that are on offer .

License Requirements

Customers must present a full and valid driving licence which has been held for a minimum of one year for all car groups. An International driving licence/permit is not required. Should your driving license not be resident to the country of origin of your booking we reserve the right to charge an appropriate rate for your country of residence.

One Way Rentals

One way rentals are permitted at no extra cost in Finland within the city limits and outside the city limits at a cost of 180.00 EUR for FVMR (Full Size)-LVMR (Luxury Pax Van)-LFMR (Luxuary 4x4)-IFMR (Intermediate 4x4)-FFMR (Full Size 4x4)-LFAR (Luxury 4x4) car groups and 120.00 EUR for all other car groups. One way rentals must be pre-booked in advance. International one way rentals are not permitted.

Out of Hours Policy

Out of hours pickups and returns are available on request only at a cost of 30.00 EUR per rental, excl vat.

Payment Policy

All major credit cards are accepted. (American Express/Diners Club/Mastercard/Visa). Debit cards are not accepted. (Visa Delta/Switch). National vouchers are accepted. Cash rentals are not accepted. Travellers cheques are not accepted. Eurocheques are not accepted. A credit card is always required for deposits, and the deposit is held on the card until the vehicle is returned. The deposit required is between 100.00 EUR and 500.00 EUR depending on rental length.

Refuelling Policy

Alamo/National will supply you a car with a full tank of petrol. Customers must return the car with a full tank of petrol or a refuelling charge of 2.75 EUR per litre, excl vat, plus petrol charges, in accordance with the current rate, will apply. The customer can return the car at the end of the rental without a full a tank of petrol provding they have paid for the fuel purchase option. The fuel purchase option is available at a cost of 1.65 EUR per litre, excl vat for diesel and 1.99 EUR per litre, excl vat, for bensin/Petrol.

Roadside Assistance

Roadside assistance is available for all rentals. The 24 hour roadside assistance emergency telephone number is and is serviced in English, Swedish and Finnish. The customer is entitled to repairs upto a maximum of 50.00 EUR providing the repairs are necessary for the rental to continue. The customer will require a receipt and and report from the repair company detailing the repairs that have been made and the payment. The customer will be refunded the repair costs and/or a replacement car will be provided if necessary, depending on availability.

Special Equipment

Child infant seats (CSI) are available at a cost of 25.00 EUR per rental. The replacement amount is EUR 300.00. Suitability is 0-12 months or 0-13kg. Child toddler seats (CST) are available at a cost of 25.00 EUR per rental. The replacement amount is EUR 100.00. Suitability is 4-7 years or 15-30kg. Child baby seats (CSB) are available at a cost of 25.00 EUR per rental. The replacement amount is EUR 300.00. Suitability is 1-3 years or 9-18kg. Child booster seats (CBS) are available at a cost of 25.00 EUR per rental. The replacement amount is EUR 300.00. Suitability is 8-10 years  Navigation systems (GPS) are available at a cost of 12.00 EUR per day. The replacement amount is EUR 400.00. Ski racks (SKI) are available at a cost of 35.00 EUR per rental, excl vat, with a replacement amount (deposit) of 150.00 EUR, which is required at the time of rental. Ski box (SBX) are available at a cost of 80.00 EUR per rental, excl vat, with a replacement amount (deposit) of 350.00 EUR, which is required at the time of rental. Winter equipped vehicles are mandatory between 1st November to 31st March (see Winter Fee in the Surcharges section). Customers must provide the age of any child that requires a child seat. Baby seats are not loaded in the system. If the customer requires a baby seat please add remarks on the reservation and request at the rental counter. Ski racks & Ski Boxes are permitted for all cars in Finland, except the EBMN & EDMR. All special equipment is permitted for one way rentals. All special equipment is available on request only, except for GPS Navigation systems, which are available on freesale. All costs are excluding vat.

Surcharges

Airport fee is 32.50 EUR per rental, excl vat, at Helsinki airport and 20.00 EUR per rental, excl vat, at all other airports. Airport fee (effective 1st April 2013) is 25.00 EUR per rental, excl vat, at Ivalo Airport, Joensuu Airport, Jyväskylä Airport, Kajaani Airport, Kemi Airport, Kittilä Airport, Kokkola Airport, Kuopio Airport, Kuusamo Airport, Lappeenranta Airport, Maarianhamina Airport, Oulu Airport, Pori Airport, Rovaniemi Airport, Tampere Airport, Turku Airport and Vaasa Airport. Winter fee is 4.00 EUR per day, excl vat, with a maximum charge of 40.00 EUR and are mandatory between 1st November to 31st March. Licence & Fees (LAF): EUR 3.69 excl vat per day with a maximum charge of EUR 51.66 per rental (14 days).
