Avbokningsavgifter

Vi tar inte ut någon avgift för bokningar som avbeställs 7 dagar eller mer före hämtningstidpunkten. Om du avbeställer din bokning efter denna tid gäller följande avgifter:

• Om du avbeställer bokningen mindre än 7 dagar före upphämtningstiden debiteras du hela kostnaden för bokningen eller upp till högst 280 SEK, beroende på vilket som är lägst.
• Om du avbeställer bokningen mindre än 24 timmar före upphämtningstiden debiteras du hela kostnaden för bokningen eller upp till högst 700 SEK, beroende på vilket som är lägst.

Avgifterna ovan gäller för samtliga länder med untantag för Storbritannien där följande avgifter gäller:

• Om du avbokar bokningen mindre än 7 dagar före upphämtningstiden debiteras du antingen hela beloppet för bokningen eller max 488 SEK om bokningskostnaden är högre än 488 SEK.
• Om du avbokar bokningen mindre än 24 timmar före upphämtningstiden debiteras du hela kostnaden för bokningen.

Vid en avbokning sker återbetalning till ditt kreditkort, minus avgiften ovan.

Underlåtelse att komma

Om du underlåter att hämta bilen det angivna hämtningsdatumet förbehåller vi oss rätten att ta ut en avgift för denna underlåtelse, antingen kostnaden för bokningen eller upp till högst 700 SEK, beroende på vilket som är lägst. Om du underlåter att komma sker återbetalning till ditt kreditkort, minus underlåtelseavgiften.

Ej använda hyrdagar

Lägg märke till att eventuella hyrdagar som inte används för förbetalda bokningar ej återbetalas.

Ovan nämnda avgifter gäller för alla länder förutom Storbritannien dä följande avgifter gäller:

Om du inte hämtar upp din bil vid den utsatta upphämtningstiden reserverar vi oss rätten ta ut en avgift för den icke utnyttjade hyrtiden.

Republic of Macedonia

Additional Driver Policy

Additional driver has to have a valid driving licence at least 2 years, maximum of 1 additional driver per rental. No additional driver fee.

Age Requirements

Minimum rental age is 21 years to drive MBMR (Mini), EBMR (Economy), EDMR (economy), CDMR (Compact), CCMR (Compact) and CMMR (Compact). Minimum rental age is 25 to drive IDMR (Intermediate), IDAR (Intermediate), IFMR (Intermediate 4x4), SDMR (Standard) and LVMR (Luxury Pax Van). There is no maximum age limit. There is no young driver fee.

Cross Border Policy

Cars may be driven into all countries (including Bulgaria). Advance notice of 7 days is required at point of reservation if the car is going to be driven out of the country as a Green card is required. For traveling into Montenegro, Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina a cross border fee of EUR 40 is applicable and should be paid at the rental counter. For traveling into, Romania, Turkey and Slovenia a long distance fee of EUR 80 is applicable and should be paid at the rental counter. There is also a charge of EUR 1 per day for snow chains taken cross border. Please be advised that due to a change in law in Germany, it is mandatory for all vehicles crossing the border into Germany to have winter tyres fitted during the Snow & Icy conditions. Customers will be fined on the spot if they are stopped by police and found to not have the appropriate winter tyres.

Delivery / Collection

During Office Hours: Within city limits we don't charge for delivery or collection, outside of city 1 Euro per Km + fuel. Outside Office Hours: After hours delivery/ collection fee is 15 Euro + VAT

Insurance Excess

Collision Damage Waiver & Theft Waiver limits the customer's financial responsibility for loss, damage or theft of the rental vehicle. The maximum excess that is payable in the event of one of these incidents is 650.00 EUR. The maximum excess will vary depending on the vehicle you are renting, please ask at time of rental for further information on which excess applies. If you would like to reduce or remove your excess responsibility please ask the rental staff when collecting your vehicle about additional products that are on offer .

License Requirements

Only persons over 21 years who are in possession of a valid driving licence at least 2 years (2 x 365 days) are allowed to drive the rented car. An International driving license is not required. Should your driving license not be resident to the country of origin of your booking we reserve the right to charge an appropriate rate for your country of residence.

One Way Rentals

International one-way rentals are available - Please refer to International One Way Program (IOWP) Domestic one way rentals are allowed for all car groups free of charge with the exception of the following which will be charged at Euro 20 plus tax for the one ways from Skopje to Ohrid ,Ohrid to Skopje, Skopje to Bitola and Bitola to Skopje . With a minimum length of rental of 24 hours and must be pre booked.

Out of Hours Policy

An advance notice period of 12 hours must be given for after hours reservations. Out of Hours pick up charge is 15 Euro + VAT Out of Hours drop off charge is 15 Euro + VAT - applies to all locations except Skopje Airport where the out of hours pick up charge is 25 Euro + VAT and out of hours drop off charge is 25 Euro + VAT.  Please note: after hours drop off charges are not loaded in the system so this will be charged locally at time of pick up if applicable.

Payment Policy

Cash payments accepted. Credit cards accepted: Visa, MasterCard, National Vouchers, (Amex, Diners, National Charge card, Travellers Cheques-(Euro) are not accepted) Deposit is held until vehicle is returned for cash and credit card payments. - For cash rentals / credit card payments : 700 Euro - If CDW is declined : 1500 Euro

Refuelling Policy

Vehicle will be supplied with full tank of fuel and should be returned full. If the car is not returned full the renter will be charged for missing fuel + service fee which is 10 Euro + tax.

Roadside Assistance

In the event of an accident the customer must immediately contact the location from which the vehicle was rented, and the nearest police station. A replacement car is provided if necessary. A special report form (supplied at the time of rental with the car documents) must be filled out and sent /delivered immediately to the rental location. Renters must cooperate with National/Alamo in any subsequent investigation or procedure concerning the accident. Renters will be held responsible for all expenses if the terms of the rental-agreement are not adhered to. In the event of a breakdown the driver must call the location from which the vehicle was rented. Repairs can be arranged with an official dealer by the renter if necessary, but only after receiving authorization from the original rental location. Refunds of expenses will be made against that dealer's official receipt of registered workshop that has affected the repair, but replaced parts have to be presented obligatorily. In case the repair was affected outside a registered workshop and the replaced parts are not returned, the expenses will not be founded. In case any part of the vehicle or kit is exchanged or lost, indemnity amounting triple daily market price of the exchanged or lost part of the vehicle or kit will be charged. Infant seat - CSI - per rental Euro 15.00 + tax. On Request with 24 hrs advance notice required. (0-1 age with a weight range : 10kg) Child/ Toddler seat - CST - per rental Euro 15.00 + tax. On Request with 24 hrs advance notice required. (1-3 age with a weight range: up to 18 kg) Chains - SNO - free of charge. On freesale and available between 1st November and 31st March. Navigation System (GPS) - EUR 25.00 + tax per rental. On Request with 24 hrs advance notice required. All equipment is available for one ways. All equipment is available at all locations. This country does not provide reflective jackets and is not required by law to do so.
