Avbokningsavgifter

Vi tar inte ut någon avgift för bokningar som avbeställs 7 dagar eller mer före hämtningstidpunkten. Om du avbeställer din bokning efter denna tid gäller följande avgifter:

• Om du avbeställer bokningen mindre än 7 dagar före upphämtningstiden debiteras du hela kostnaden för bokningen eller upp till högst 280 SEK, beroende på vilket som är lägst.
• Om du avbeställer bokningen mindre än 24 timmar före upphämtningstiden debiteras du hela kostnaden för bokningen eller upp till högst 700 SEK, beroende på vilket som är lägst.

Avgifterna ovan gäller för samtliga länder med untantag för Storbritannien där följande avgifter gäller:

• Om du avbokar bokningen mindre än 7 dagar före upphämtningstiden debiteras du antingen hela beloppet för bokningen eller max 488 SEK om bokningskostnaden är högre än 488 SEK.
• Om du avbokar bokningen mindre än 24 timmar före upphämtningstiden debiteras du hela kostnaden för bokningen.

Vid en avbokning sker återbetalning till ditt kreditkort, minus avgiften ovan.

Underlåtelse att komma

Om du underlåter att hämta bilen det angivna hämtningsdatumet förbehåller vi oss rätten att ta ut en avgift för denna underlåtelse, antingen kostnaden för bokningen eller upp till högst 700 SEK, beroende på vilket som är lägst. Om du underlåter att komma sker återbetalning till ditt kreditkort, minus underlåtelseavgiften.

Ej använda hyrdagar

Lägg märke till att eventuella hyrdagar som inte används för förbetalda bokningar ej återbetalas.

Ovan nämnda avgifter gäller för alla länder förutom Storbritannien dä följande avgifter gäller:

Om du inte hämtar upp din bil vid den utsatta upphämtningstiden reserverar vi oss rätten ta ut en avgift för den icke utnyttjade hyrtiden.

Malta

Additional Driver Policy

Additional driver charge is Euro 4.24 + tax per day. There is no maximum number of additional drivers allowed per rental.

Age Requirements

Minimum rental age is 25 years for FVMR (Full Size Pax Van), DTMR ( Compact Elite Convertible), SDMR (Standard) and FDMR (Fullsize).  For all other cars the minimum rental age is 21 years. There is no upper age limit, but if the driver is over 70 years they need a doctors certificate issued up to 1 month before the rental start date confirming they are fit to drive. Young drivers 21-24 years (inc) will be charged Euro 8.47 + tax per day.

Cross Border Policy

Vehicles are not allowed outside Malta.

Delivery / Collection

Hotel delivery & collection anywhere in Malta/Gozo within office hours is EUR 10.17 + tax. Hotel delivery & collection outside office hours is EUR 16.95 + tax. Airport delivery & collection within office hours is free of charge. Airport delivery & collection outside office hours is EUR 10.17 + tax.

Insurance Excess

Collision Damage Waiver & Theft Waiver limits the customer's financial responsibility for loss, damage or theft of the rental vehicle. The maximum excess that is payable in the event of one of these incidents is 1350.00 EUR. The maximum excess will vary depending on the vehicle you are renting, please ask at time of rental for further information on which excess applies. If you would like to reduce or remove your excess responsibility please ask the rental staff when collecting your vehicle about additional products that are on offer .

License Requirements

A full valid driving licence must be held for at least 3 years for FVMR (Full Size Pax Van), DTMR ( Compact Elite Convertible), SDMR (Standard), and FDMR (Fullsize). For all other cars a full valid driving licence must be held for at least 1 year.  An international driving permit is not required. Should your driving license not be resident to the country of origin of your booking we reserve the right to charge an appropriate rate for your country of residence.

One Way Rentals

Domestic one ways are allowed between all locations and cost EUR 8.47 + tax except one ways to or from Gozo Xlendi which cost EUR 100.00 + tax. Domestic one ways are allowed for all cars and must be pre-booked. Minimum length of rental is 1 day. International - not allowed

Out of Hours Policy

Out of hours pickups are allowed at a cost of EUR 15.89 + tax. Out of hours times are different for each location, so please refer to the 'Additional Info' section for the location to see if they are allowed.  There is no out of hours facility at TAL-BALAL NAXXAR (MLAN71/01).

Payment Policy

All major credit cards accepted (Visa, Amex, MasterCard). National charge card, National vouchers & Travellers cheques are also accepted. Diners and Eurocheques are not accepted. A deposit of EUR 600.00 including tax is required, which is held against the credit card until the return of the vehicle. Cash, Diners, Visa Electron & Maestro are not accepted to pay the deposit - this must be paid by credit card. The credit card number must be indicated at time of booking.  Customers that are unable to produce a valid credit card will not be given the vehicle, even if they have a voucher.

Refuelling Policy

Cars are supplied with half a tank of fuel, which must be paid for upon collection.  The car should be returned as empty as possible - there is no refund for any fuel left in the car.

Roadside Assistance

In case of breakdown: A 24 hour emergency assistance phone number is provided on the rental agreement, which is also displayed on the licence disk inside the car. This number is connected to the rental agent on duty. Full details will also be supplied at time of pick up. A replacement car will be provided if necessary. In case of an accident: the customer must call the traffic warden , who will present them with a report. The customer must then call the rental office at the first possible chance, so that the insurance claim forms can be completed for the accident. Full details will also be supplied at time of pick up. A replacement car will be provided if necessary.

Special Equipment

Child/Baby seat - CSB (1 - 3 years) = Euro 4.25 + tax per day. The replacement amount is EUR 200.00 + tax. On Freesale. Child/Toddler seat - CST (4 - 7 years) = Euro 4.25 + tax per day. The replacement amount is EUR 200.00 + tax. On Freesale. Navigation System - GPS - EUR 5.93 + tax per day. The replacement amount is EUR 500.00 including tax. On Freesale. Child/Infant seat (CSI) - Not Available Baby seats are not loaded in the system. If required, please add to the remarks. 48 hours notice required for all equipment and available at all locations and for all cars.
