Avbokningsavgifter

Vi tar inte ut någon avgift för bokningar som avbeställs 7 dagar eller mer före hämtningstidpunkten. Om du avbeställer din bokning efter denna tid gäller följande avgifter:

• Om du avbeställer bokningen mindre än 7 dagar före upphämtningstiden debiteras du hela kostnaden för bokningen eller upp till högst 280 SEK, beroende på vilket som är lägst.
• Om du avbeställer bokningen mindre än 24 timmar före upphämtningstiden debiteras du hela kostnaden för bokningen eller upp till högst 700 SEK, beroende på vilket som är lägst.

Avgifterna ovan gäller för samtliga länder med untantag för Storbritannien där följande avgifter gäller:

• Om du avbokar bokningen mindre än 7 dagar före upphämtningstiden debiteras du antingen hela beloppet för bokningen eller max 488 SEK om bokningskostnaden är högre än 488 SEK.
• Om du avbokar bokningen mindre än 24 timmar före upphämtningstiden debiteras du hela kostnaden för bokningen.

Vid en avbokning sker återbetalning till ditt kreditkort, minus avgiften ovan.

Underlåtelse att komma

Om du underlåter att hämta bilen det angivna hämtningsdatumet förbehåller vi oss rätten att ta ut en avgift för denna underlåtelse, antingen kostnaden för bokningen eller upp till högst 700 SEK, beroende på vilket som är lägst. Om du underlåter att komma sker återbetalning till ditt kreditkort, minus underlåtelseavgiften.

Ej använda hyrdagar

Lägg märke till att eventuella hyrdagar som inte används för förbetalda bokningar ej återbetalas.

Ovan nämnda avgifter gäller för alla länder förutom Storbritannien dä följande avgifter gäller:

Om du inte hämtar upp din bil vid den utsatta upphämtningstiden reserverar vi oss rätten ta ut en avgift för den icke utnyttjade hyrtiden.

Nicaragua - Alamo

Additional Driver Policy

$5 USD per day

Age Requirements

$10 USD per day for drivers between the age of 21-24. Minimum 21 Maximum 75

Cross Border Policy

Unrestricted driving within Nicaragua only. Renters wishing to visit Costa Rica must prearrange at time of rental, for a vehicle exchange at the Nicaragua/Costa Rica border.  A three (3) day  minimum  notice is required.    Upon vehicle exchange at the border, the original agreement is closed and a second rental agreement is issued by Alamo Costa Rica (same rate is applied).  A vehicle exchange fee totaling $50 USD is assessed; $25 charged by Nicaragua when the original agreement is closed plus $25 charged by Costa Rica when the new agreement is opened.  When the renter returns to Nicaragua, the same process applies plus an additional $50 exchange fee.   Renters not planning to return to Nicaragua  must notify the rental location in Nicaragua when prearranging the vehicle exchange.   

Delivery / Collection

No Delivery & Collection available. Free pick-up and drop off up to 3 miles from rental location. Between 3-15 miles from rental location $20 USD fee is applicable. More the 15 miles distance is available at cost of $30 and above depending on location. Must be prearranged.

Insurance Excess

COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER/THEFT PROTECTION (CDW-TP) $11 USD for car groups CCMR $20 SFAR FPMR  If CDW/TP is declined, renter is responsible for the full value of damage or theft of the rental vehicle. CDW/TP  DEDUCTIBLE CDW deductible is 20% of the damages. TP deductible is 30% of vehicle value. CDW & TP DEDUCTIBLE PROTECTION (DP) $20.00 USD PER DAY.  This will reduce CDW & TP deductible to $0.00.  This is a combination of CDW-DP & TP-DP. CDW DEDUCTIBLE PROTECTION (CDW-DP) $15.00 USD PER DAY.  This will reduce CDW deductible to $0.00 TP DEDUCTIBLE PROTECTION (TP-DP) $5.00 USD PER DAY. This will reduce TP deductible to $0.00 PRIMARY LIABILITY INSURANCE (PLI) (Mandatory) The purchase of Primary Liability Insurance (PLI) is mandatory at a cost $12.99 USD per day for car groups. PLI provides liability coverage of approximately $20,000 USD per accident and $ 5,000 USD for personal injury  or up $10,000 USD for two more people injured. for all accident related expenses not pertaining to the rental vehicle.  The PLI deductible is 20% of total damages to the third party property. 

License Requirements

Full and Valid Driver's License from country of origin. Should your driving license not be resident to the country of origin of your booking we reserve the right to charge an appropriate rate for your country of residence.

One Way Rentals

One way charges may apply, payable at time of rental.  One way charges cannot be prepaid. 

Out of Hours Policy

Alamo Nicaragua will operate normal business hours and will not observe bank and public holidays.

Payment Policy

Passport and Major Credit Card in renters name required. Major credit cards accepted: Visa, Master Card and American Express. Travel/Tour & Corporate Vouchers accepted. No Cash rentals. An authorization of $1000 USD will be placed on credit card upon rental of vehicle. This authorization amount may be used toward damage or late charges in the event  vehicle is returned with damage and insurance was not purchased and/or late charges are assessed.

Refuelling Policy

Pick up and return full or surcharge of 50% will apply.

Roadside Assistance

Call (505) 8855-6970 or client can contact the Corporate Headquarters @ (505) 2277-1117. In the case of an accident, Customer must complete a police report at time of incident. 

Special Equipment

Infant Seats: $3 USD per day Cellular phones: $3 USD per day

Surcharges

$10 USD per rental Airport fee applicable at Managua Airport. $1.00 per day License Plate Fee (Contracted rates may include the License Plate Fee).

Tax

15% State tax (Contracted rates may include the VAT).
